A filler is a type of hyaluronic acid filler. Hyaluronic Acid, or HA for short, is produced to mimic a substance that is naturally present in the body. It is used to replace important parts of the skin structure, collagen and hyaluronic acid, which the body loses as we age.
Our skin has collagen fibers as an important component that make the skin strong, elastic and firm. When these fibers are reduced, the skin becomes thin and wrinkles easily appear.
When Hyaluronic Acid is injected into areas with wrinkles, such as under the eyes or cheeks, the wrinkles will become shallower and the skin will become firmer. Therefore, filler injections are related to solving various wrinkle problems effectively.
